Hallucinogens and related substances are section of a class of drugs called psychoactive drugs. They are so called because they act on your brain of the person utilizing the drug, which may affect in varying degrees the perceptions, emotions, thoughts, along with the level of consciousness of the individual.

Hallucinogenic drugs are recognized to give individuals a sense of being detached from reality.
